Media Education through Digital Games: A Review on Design and Factors Influencing Learning Performance

چکیده

In the past two decades, a considerable amount of research has focused on digital games as part media education. Digital game-based learning (DGBL) is identified potential pedagogical approach to enhance in era. light increased number academic articles educational games, this study considers development and factors that influence performance among children by providing thematic review literature available DGBL. Findings show despite following developmental standard procedures, distinct perspective between game designer educator essential. Three major approaches have been identified, namely learner-centered, game-centered model approaches. Learning processes use empirically positive results well great terms intrinsic motivation, features overall experience.
